Cinzia Macchi will create the official bags for Italy's 70th anniversary at the UN, with an ethical and sustainable project. Meanwhile, thanks to Gucci's support, the Triennale di Milano enriches its permanent collection with works by de Chirico, Mazzucchelli, Maloberti and Lambri

In her own gentle way, but Cinzia Macchi, “la Milanesa” whose bags, all in recycled or regenerated materials, are made with communities of women who live in difficult situations, is slowly making her way abroad. At the request of Ludovica Murazzani, press, communication and social media advisor of the permanent representation of Italy to the UN, she will create the tote bags for the event celebrating the seventieth anniversary of the country's entry among the members of the Glass Palace, next June 3.
Triennale Buys Fashion (Thanks to Gucci)When you see a fashion brand show in a museum, know that the reward will be a major restoration or a purchasing campaign. After two fashion shows, here comes the tasty balance with the Triennale di Milano. The permanent collection includes works by four important artists of the Italian scene: Giorgio de Chirico, Franco Mazzucchelli, Marcello Maloberti and Luisa Lambri. Already existing or specially commissioned, they have been selected to create a bridge between the institution's memory and its present and future, with a view to further strengthening the Triennale's commitment to promoting contemporary Italian art. Among the new works, a 1973 picto-sculptural sketch by de Chirico linked to the work 'I Bagni Misteriosi', exhibited from 13 May 2025 in the new spaces of the park floor, and a site-specific light installation by Maloberti on the facade of the Palazzo dell'Arte, which bears the words 'Milan take me where I am'. Also coming soon is a work by Mazzucchelli and, in 2026, an unpublished series by Luisa Lambri, an artist known for her work on the themes of space, representation and identity, dedicated to the architecture of Giovanni Muzio, designer of the Palazzo dell'Arte.
